Double Take Bodega

The old village bar with new proprietors and a new lease of life. The interior has been given a refurb , the menu has been simplified with excellent frites and now the jeunesse of the pueblo hang out in and out of the bar every evening.

It is the place to see and be seen by the locals. The principle is good beer, good picas and good company.

It used to be lo-design but it now has a pared down minimal/industrial look wuth bar beside the door. back terrace and lots of intimate seating space. Most people seem to stand to allow for better mingling and conversation.

The main road in Deia forms a part of the social fabric of the village as cars and motos stop for quick conversations with people on the street. Double Take provides the perfect platform for our social art.
